Community Centre
St Philip’s Church Community Centre, Church Rd, Webheath, B97 5PD
The Centre is available for hire and is suitable for clubs, meetings, functions and activities.
The community centre was officially opened by The Rt Revd Martin Gorick, Bishop of Dudley, on the 152nd anniversary of the consecration of St Philip’s Church, 13th February 2022.
Facilities
The Centre is heated throughout and has Wi-Fi. There is good parking outside with security lighting.
Main Function Area
The function room measures approximately 9.6m x 6.5m (32ft x 22ft) and is open plan with a fully fitted kitchen attached. Seating capacity is approximately 50, or 30–40 for a function depending on how much open space is required.
Tables and Chairs
There are 36 folding chairs on a trolley in the room, with additional chairs available if required. Folding tables are stored in the adjacent cupboard: 10 x 1.8m (6ft) long tables and 7 x 1.2m (4ft) long tables. The layout can be arranged flexibly to suit your needs.
Kitchen
The kitchen measures approximately 4.5m x 3m (15ft x 9ft) and is fully equipped with a cooker, dishwasher, instant hot water system, two fridges, one freezer, and a microwave. Crockery, cutlery, cleaning materials and washing-up liquid are all supplied. A first aid box and fire extinguisher and fire blanket are also on site.
Toilets
Toilets are located in the main corridor. There are separate male and female toilets, plus one disabled toilet with a baby changing unit.
