On Sundays when there is no 9am service at St Philip’s, BCP Holy Communion services will take place at 8am at St Stephen’s and St Bartholomew’s and Informal Worship at 9.30am at St Leonard’s.

3.45–4.30pm on Thursday 12th October – PIPS: Stories, Songs and Games for 3-7 year olds. 

PIPS meet on the second Thursday of each month from 3.45 to 4.30pm. 
Bumps, Babes and Toddlers: Thursdays at church 9:30-11:30am 

 

Roger Powell expects to be fit and well to lead Songs of Praise at St Bartholomews, Tardebigge on Sunday October 29th at 6pm so all he needs now is a full church and some hymn requests.

Quiz Night: Friday 17th November 7.30pm. Teams of no more than 6 people. Tickets £4.00 available from Jill Allbut. Bring and Share supper; bring own drink/alcohol – glasses provided. Look forward to seeing you there!

East Africa Famine Appeal: Millions of people are on the brink of starvation in east Africa caused by a new wave of drought following the strongest El Nino on record. Over the next few weeks we will be having a collection in order to give money to Tear Fund so they can deliver water, food and medical aid across the region. There is a plate at the back of church for this purpose. Thank you.

We are holding our Advent Fair on Saturday 25th November 10am until 1pm. If anyone would like to help organise the running of this event please see either of the church wardens. If you are willing to run a stall please add your name to the sheet on the table at the back of church. Thank you.

Arrow Vale Singers November 11th at Webheath Village Hall present Heroes and Villains at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8 each, available on the door or can be obtained from Aly Hawkins

St Philip’s Building Project: you can donate on www.give.net – just enter ‘St. Philip’s Church Webheath’ in the box that says ‘Find a Charity’. The rest is easy!!! Thank you in advance.

An opportunity to raise £130 towards St Philip’s Church Annexe project. This year Ecclesiastical Insurance celebrates its 130 year anniversary of insuring Anglican churches. As a thank you they are offering to donate £130 to St Philip’s for every new home insurance policy taken out from now until the 31st July 2018. More information can be found on the notice board at the back of church.

New Autumn Traidcraft Catalogues, which include Christmas cards, wrapping and gifts, are now in church If you would like to buy and save on postage, we will be making regular orders between now and Christmas. Please give/send Anita or Ian your order.
